PolitiekPraat
Dutch politics in plain language, running since 2022. Four public tools sit under the explainers: a party comparison, a compass, a voting tracker and a local voting guide for Ede.
The project
An independent Dutch politics platform I started in 2022 and still run alone. It puts news and explainers next to tools that let the reader check the same thing themselves: PartijMeter compares party positions, Politiek Kompas places you on two axes, Stemmentracker shows how parties actually voted in parliament, and Stemwijzer Ede covers the local election. No ads. A new piece every Sunday, extra when the news demands it.
