A political compass that treats an opinion as more than left versus right. Five independent dimensions, transparent scoring, an adaptive quiz and no account or ad tracking.
What needed solving.
The classic left-right axis flattens most people's actual views. Someone can be economically left and culturally conservative, or pro-market and strongly pro-European. A single label misrepresents them.
How I got there.
Build a compass around five independent axes and score each one separately: economy, culture, freedom, power and trust. Draft balanced statements, let both sides have equal room, and be explicit that the result is a sketch, not a verdict.
What it became.
A live compass in three lengths (free/5/10 euro), fully anonymous, with a methodology page that explains the scoring and clear comparisons with politicians and countries.
What it actually did.
A privacy-first alternative to the one-axis political quizzes that dominate the web. It treats an opinion as five separate dimensions instead of a single label, and it never asks for an account or runs ad tracking.
