American midterms are covered for an American news cycle. Dutch readers get headlines without the mechanics: which races actually decide the Senate and House, and why.
How I got there.
Strip the election back to the seats that matter and the odds behind them. Present the Senate map, the toss-up races and a countdown, all in plain Dutch, and layer a live map on top.
What it became.
A live election dashboard with the Senate map, the closest races and a running countdown to election day, built on real seat and odds data.
What it actually did.
Makes a US election legible to a Dutch audience that usually only gets headlines. Live odds, the actual deciding races and plain-language context, updated as the night unfolds.
