Route / 2017 → now

The route so far,
taken in honest steps.

From an MBO software developer and a civic platform in Ede, to a European Studies student in The Hague. A deliberate switch, not an accident.

01Chronology

Step by step.

2017-2021Study
Pallas Athene College

Secondary school in Ede gave me the first space to turn a broad interest in society, media and technology into things I could investigate myself.

Ede
2021-2025Study
MBO 4 Software Developer

I learned to break large systems into testable parts, design interfaces around real users and carry an idea from an empty repository to a working product.

Rijn IJssel
2022-nowWriting
Founded PolitiekPraat

Political explainers became a platform, then a set of public tools. Writing and building turned out to be two versions of the same instinct: make complexity usable.

Ede
2024-2026Work
Software Developer, Developing B.V.

Built and maintained real client platforms in the Netherlands: from e-commerce and multi-tenant SaaS to energy-performance consultancy. Learned to own the journey from idea to product.

Wageningen
2026Work
Founder, Andichi Webworks

Started my own one-person web studio with a fee-led, demo-first model for local businesses, plus my own products: HupOfferte, TelFixer and Radio Naoufal.

Ede
2026Politics
Candidate and English-language writer

Stood at number 12 on D66 Ede's municipal list and started Politics Beyond the Headlines for longer English-language analysis of Dutch and European politics.

Ede
From Sep 2026Now
European Studies, THUAS

The English stream brings politics, economics, law, culture and languages together. A year-three exchange is part of the direction; the destination is still open.

The Hague
NextNow
American politics, via Europe

The long-term goal is to work in American politics, in policy or political communication. The route runs through Europe first: learn inside a team where research becomes public judgement, then carry that instinct across the Atlantic.
