Interactive civic toolCoalition Builder

An interactive Tweede Kamer built on the real 2025 election result. Pick parties, watch the seat chart fill and see whether you can cross a 76-seat majority.

01The problem

What needed solving.

Coalition formation decides what actually becomes law, but for most people it is a black box of numbers and acronyms. Understanding it requires seeing the arithmetic happen.

02The approach

How I got there.

Let the audience play the negotiator. Load the real seat counts, let them pick parties, and show the seat chart filling in until they either cross a majority or discover how hard coalition maths really is.

03The result

What it became.

A live coalition simulator on the real October 2025 election result, built as the flagship exhibit for his political and civic-tech work.
